[Press Release] MFDS Expects the Improvement of Safety and Enhancement of Convenience for Health Functional Food

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) of the Republic of Korea (Minister: Oh Yu-Kyoung) announced an administrative notice with revision of the Standards and Specifications for Health Functional Foods on July 25, which includes the addition of ‘Warning notice for intake’ for 9 functional materials such as Coenzyme Q10 which helps to function as antioxidant and reduce blood pressure. ？ Coenzyme Q10, Squalene, Conjugated linoleic acids, NAG(N-acetyl glucosamine), Oat dietary fiber, Inulin/Chicory extracts, Chitosan/Chitiooligosaccharide, Garcinia cambogia extracts, Aloe gel
