[Press Release] MFDS Leads Efforts to Improve Safety of Asian Agricultural, Livestock, and Fishery Products

- MFDS hosts the Korea-ASEAN invitational training program for 10 Asian nations from October 23rd to 27th

- Korea’s food safety management policies to be shared, and on-site visits to food manufacturing and processing facilities included

- Contributing to advancement of food safety systems in importing and exporting countries, creating safer environment for consuming imported foods

The Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS, Minister Yu-Kyoung Oh) is hosting the 2023 Korea-ASEAN invitational training program on safety governance of agricultural, livestock and fishery products in Osong and Seoul from October 23rd to 27th. This event is designed to enhance food safety management capabilities among government officials from 10 prominent Asian nations*, including Nepal and Mongolia.

* Participating Countries: Cambodia, Indonesia, Mongolia, Nepal, Philippine, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Thailand, Vietnam
